The best home based careers are the ones that you like to do and are interested in. Most of the opportunities are easy to perform and will only take some time to complete. You will not need mush skill or experience in them and will get better the more projects you take.

Filling In Forms

Some companies will employ you to work at home filling in forms for their products and services. This work is more specifically called data entry. You will be free to decide what projects you take and what hours you will fill in the forms. The pay is also up to you and can be profitable for you if you are a fast typist. This data entry position will allow you to be your own boss and free to choose how and when you work. The important thing though is to meet the deadlines that are set for the projects you choose.

Filling Out Online Surveys

Companies need to have online surveys filled out and are willing to pay others to work at home doing it for them. They have no time to do this job themselves. There is also market research that needs to be completed before a product is introduced to the market so it can be made better or changed before it does. Online surveys can be completed in a few hours a day. These may not net you a large income at first but the more you have time to complete, the more you will make with this home based career.

Freelance As A Writer

Those who own a website will pay you to write their content for them. You can make a good living by offering your writing skills in the form of articles, blogs, forum posts, and others. The better the content is you provide, the better the pay will be for this work at home career opportunity. Rates for writers are about $30 minimum and up. The amount of those needing writers is a very large group and there is almost no competition in this market right now.

Auctions Online

You can sell the junk that has accumulated in your home on a full time basis for extra cash with online auctions. You can also choose a product or range of products and make this a work at home position for yourself. You only need to decide on a product or service to sell and then get it listed. The possibility of drop ship companies is also a good thing to consider as they send the items directly to the customer. You do not need to keep inventory in your home or deal with shipping. You simply take payment and they pay the drop shipper to send it out. The difference between the two amounts is yours to keep as profit. It is simple but takes a little time to list the items on the auction site.

Millions are soon to reach retirement. A major concern is finding jobs for seniors to help cover what their social security checks do not in making ends meet. There's a big drop from a regular paycheck coming in to a social security check once a month. There can be 50% or more difference. Worries are increasing as baby boomers increase to retirement age that social security could go out of business. One large factor is that in the future there'll be more boomers drawing monthly checks than there are workers paying it in. Therefore finding jobs for those retiring leave big questions that need to be answered.

The Law of Attraction def.

(Taken from Wikipedia.org)

The phrase Law of Attraction, although used widely by New Thought writers, has a variety of definitions. Turn-of-the-century references conceptualized the law of attraction as relating to physical structure and to how matter develops. A more modern consensus among New Thought thinkers is that the Law of Attraction says people's thoughts (both conscious and unconscious) dictate the reality of their lives, whether or not they're aware of it. Essentially "if you really want something and truly believe it's possible, you'll get it", but putting a lot of attention and thought onto something you don't want means you'll probably get that too.

Widespread popular interest for the law of attraction reached its peak after the release of the The Secret, a 2006 cinematic release. After the film's release, the book, Law of Attraction: The Basics of the Teachings of Abraham, by Esther Hicks and Jerry Hicks made the New York Times Best Sellers list, drawing more attention and interest to this topic. Prior to this, the couple had been in the field since the '80s. In 2007, Oprah Winfrey began a series of interviews during her talk show on the law of attraction. Britsh business men like Neil Skelton of AYC Financial claim they have prospered by using The Law of Attraction.

Since many of the claims of the law of attraction appear impossible without violating established scientific principles and our understanding of the universe, it has received criticism from the scientific community. Physicist Ali Alousi, for instance, criticized it as unmeasurable (and therefore unscientific) as well as questioning the likelihood that thoughts can affect anything outside the head. The Associated Press is also quoted as saying that "some medical professionals suggest it could even lead to a blame-the-victim mentality and actually be dangerous to those suffering from serious illness or mental disorders".
